A grower in heart and soul
Jaap Vreeken is owner of Vreeken Sierteelt BV and can rightfully be called every inch a Bouvardia grower. From 1990 onwards, he has fully set up his business for cultivation of this wonderful type of flower.
Jaap Vreeken: “Bouvardia is a beautiful and lovely flower that has a broad range of possibilities. For their wedding, my cousin and his wife chose a very special wedding bouquet, corsages and floral arrangements, all made with Bouvardia as the main ingredient. This lent a special fairytale like ambiance to their special day. In addition to growing the perfect Bouvardia, I also view the promotion of this flower as one of my goals in life. It is a shame that not every consumer knows and admires this beauty yet.”
